Do I lose my queue days if I sign a contract with a private landlord?
If I sign a contract with a private landlord from Boplats, do I lose my queue days on the Boplats website?

When you have signed a rental contract, your queue time at Boplats will be reset and start again from zero. This rule applies regardless of who the landlord is. It doesn't make any difference if it's a private or municipal landlord.
The only exception is if you sign a short term contract without security of tenure. If you get a short term contract, you will keep your queue days at Boplats.
