What if I'm traveling or on vacation outside Sweden when it's time to sign the contract?

Most commonly the landlord will send you a digital contract to sign with BankID, so usually it's no problem to sign a contract even if you're currently abroad.
In some cases the landlord will only approve applicants that have been to the viewing. If so, it shold be stated in the ad and/or viewing invitation that you must attend the viewing in order to be eligible for the contract.
But that is quite uncommon - usually it's up to you if the want to attend the viewing or not.
