Premium Beater Set

I work for an Ankarsrum dealer and had a customer pose a really good question the other day: "How would I clean the mechanical housing if particles or moisture were to enter it?". Per the manufacturer, the recommended cleaning procedure is simply to wipe the housing with a damp cloth, effectively cleaning only the exterior. How would my customers clean the product?

Washing Restrictions on the Premium Beater Housing: We have recently met with the engineers in Sweden to find out more behind the recommendation to NOT submerge or run water over the Premium Beater Housing. Here is the very valuable information we learned.
There are NO components inside the beater housing that could become damaged by getting water inside. However, if water were to get inside the beater housing, it would be nearly impossible for all of the water to drain back out. Again, this would not cause damage internally but during use, there would be the possibility that water could sling out or drop from the housing. We do not feel that this would be a desirable outcome and therefor our recommendation is to not submerge in water or run water into the holes on the underneath side of the Premium Beater Housing. Running water over the top of the beater housing is totally fine and then our recommendation is to use a damp cloth or sanitizing wipe to wipe down the underneath side. If food has gotten into the center hole of the beater housing (where the beater shaft fits), a sanitizing wipe can be used to clean out.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: If the food you are mixing has come all the way to the underneath side of the beater assembly, this is a sign that you are mixing too much volume.
