Oscillating Sound

Is it normal for the mixer to make an oscillating sound when mixer is on? I notice it in particular when I’m mixing a dense dough with the dough roller. Thanks!

Hi Lauren, without a video, we aren't able to answer confidently but I can tell you that it is normal for the Ankarsrum to sound like the motor is increasing in power while mixing. The Ankarsrum has a smart sensor that senses when a heavy load is being mixed which then sends a signal to the motor and transmission to give it a bit more power. Hope this helps!
