Double beaters
When I make frosting, cookies, etc. and put the room temperature butter in the bowl the beaters don't quite reach the bottom of the bowl leaving a layer of solid butter. Is that normal? The last batch of frosting I made had lumps of butter in it because it didn't incorporate. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about this. Sounds like the whisk holder might be defective on your machine.
