Are users being deleted automatically?

I cannot find a user who we registered years ago.
Are users who hasn't attended courses for 3-5 years deleted automatically?

We do eventually delete users who haven't been active for a longer period of time.
The user will be notified before this happens though, and will then get a chance to log in and retain their account.
