Whisks in the dishwasher?

Hi, I noticed you recommend not washing the whisks in the dishwasher, what happens if I do, do they break in some way? Or is it just an aestetic matter?

Hi, the main issue is that they degrade much faster when washing in the dishwasher.

should the accessories not be put in the dishwasher....meat grinding tools, whisks etc..?
