Using the whisk attachment

When I use the whisk attachments they seem to slip and make a lot of noise

  • Hi Deb, this is usually a sign that there are broken or damaged teeth on the main gear or on the beaters themselves.

If you are located in the US, feel free to reach out to our office at: info-us@ankarsrum.com and we will be happy to look at filing a warranty claim for you.

Here are some tips for future use:
-multi-wire balloon whisk are mainly for heavy whipping cream and egg whites
-for anything thicker than pancake batter use the single wire beaters
-for icing/frosting use the single wire beaters or the stainless-steel bowl and dough roller
-always use totally softened butter (sometime room temperature butter is not totally soft depending on the temperature in your house – you should be able to push your finger in the butter with no resistance
-Making cookies-mix on lowest speed after adding the flour only until it is incorporated
-if adding chocolate chips to cookie dough...mix on lowest speed only until incorporated
-if making a stiff cookie dough or more than 1 batch, use the stainless-steel bowl and dough roller
