• Make sure that the mincer is correctly assembled, with the knife in the correct direction. If you use the mincer a lot, the knife and hole discs might need to be sharpened, or replaced.
  
  Be sure to freeze the mincer if you grind a lot of meat, freeze the meat in cubes small enought to fit the grinder for 4-6 hours and then grind it. It will make the grinding process much easier and you reduce the amount of bacteria, meaning longer shelf life.
