Magic Mill Mixer On/Off Knob no longer works

I have an older Magic Mill Mixer and the on/off/timer knob no longer works. I have power by plugging and unplugging the power cord but am no longer able to turn on or set the timer with the knob.

  • Thank you for your question. There are a couple of different issues that could be happening here.  We first need to determine if the issue is with the actual On/Off/Timer KNOB or if the issue is with the TIMER BOX behind the knob.

    Start by following these steps:

    1. Be sure to set the SPEED knob to the lowest setting.
    2. Gently remove BOTH the on/off and the speed knob. If your mixer has knobs that light up, you will also want to remove the opaque rings covering the openings where the knobs fit.
    3. Carefully place the speed knob where the On/Off knob fits and test to see if the machine works properly. If this works, then the issue is with your On/Off/Timer knob and you will need to purchase a new knob by clicking here:

    Sadly, the current Speed Knob will not fit the older Magic Mill mixers so your knobs will be forever mismatched.

    If this does not resolve the issue, then the issue is with the Timer Box. This is a part that can be purchased and replaced but you will need to contact our office to arrange for repair. If you are located in the USA, email: info-us@ankarsrum.com
