Machine temp

Should the machine get warm at all during kneading? I did a double batch of bread dough today with the dough roller and ran it for about 16 mins maybe and it was warm to touch the machine. Is that normal?

  • Hi Lauren.  Yes, this is completely normal.  There is a belt inside the machine that when running causes friction, which can cause the machine to become warm when kneading for an extended period of time.  This will not harm the machine or your dough.
