Dough Hook

What are the specs for the dough hook up-down adjustment screw (so it won't touch the bottom of the bowl) and where can I order one? My out-of-the box, brand new mixer is missing this screw. Because it is missing, my dough hook rubs on the bottom of the bowl.

Hi James, we are so sorry to hear that the screw is missing from your Ankarsrum. Be sure to double check under the flaps in the bottom of the box. During transportation, the spring and screw that go down in the hole for the dough hook can call out and are most likely stuck under the flap in the box

Also be sure to watch our Masterclass video on YouTube on using the dough roller. It was the original mixing/kneading tool for this mixer for nearly 50 years before the hook was added. It will do a great job with any recipe you throw at it.
