Cookie beaters

I have tried to reach you through email to no avail, after breaking the cookie beaters during my first use.  My cookie batters are pretty dense.  I chose to purchase new beaters, though it seems replacements should have been free of charge.  I need them, and have considered returning the entire unit because of how easily they broke on first use.  I tried using the dough hook and dough roller, but no luck getting cookie dough to mix.  Any tips?  I really love the power and make of this mixer, but techniques for cookies are not really listed.  This was a big investment, and I am about to buy a Kitchen Aid instead.  I really don't want to.

  • Hi Tanya,

Thank you for your message and we are so sorry to hear about your beater assembly. Our US office has done a search for your email address and we have never received an email from your email. Are you able to tell us what country you reside in? I have just sent you an email from our US office (info-us@ankarsrum.com) so be sure to check your spam folder just in case my email ended up there.

As for thick cookie batter, for these types of recipe, we recommend using the large SS Bowl with the roller and scraper. We show how best to do this in our most recent Masterclass - Cookies on our YouTube channel. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/-4T8XnB7694
