How will be the winter this year?

hello how will be the winter 2020-2021 of Sweden? specially Stockholm. I have seen That you do not focus on the future forecast, like SMHI do not issue winter forecast how it will be? may of us want to know how it will be because last year it was warm as compare to 10 years back. but this year Corona gave benefit to environment.

Unfortunately we at SMHI does not provide seasonal forecasts. We have chosen to just focus on 10 days forwards since the forecast further than that can change very rapidly and the situation is not easy to predict.
The situation with Corona is still very hard to predict and how it will influence the climate, since the situation is not over yet and we still do not have all the research to see how much it influenced the world. One season can not give the information that the environment is doing better or worse, since we will always have situation in which the temperature will be warmer or colder than the average. We have to measure this information through a continuation of time and not only one season.
