Measurements of the small Medusa?

What is the diameter of the black thing in the small Medusa lamp? We have a hole in the roof, so I'd like to know if lamp covers it.

    The ceiling cup is 12cm in diameter.
    I enclose a picture with measurements below.

    Takkoppen är 6cm djup. Det brukar vara tillräckligt för det flesta uttag /kontakter.
