When creating a map, are there legal issues in using photospheres provided from third parties?
If i create a custom map, am i allowed to use photospheres uploaded by third parties (more so if it includes a copyright watermark)?
As an example, look at this panorama uploaded from a guy not associated to Google: https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/100219221011628198903/photos/@47.4276064,12.2145894,3a,75y,328.24h,13.3t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipNGJkqF2p61mMTJDyrGqWKC-ymTZUpoj5Mp3Wsl!2e10!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipNGJkqF2p61mMTJDyrGqWKC-ymTZUpoj5Mp3Wsl%3Dw365-h260-k-no-pi-10-ya170.21-ro-0-fo100!7i10000!8i5000!4m3!8m2!3m1!1e1 .
If you pan down to the bottom, you can see clearly what i mean. Google just states that "Images may be subject to copyright" when panoramas from third parties are used, so it is still unclear to me what's the matter about licensing.
The only valid source i found about this is the following: https://www.trekview.org/blog/2020/image-copyright-and-publishing-your-photos-to-google-street-view/ . It makes sense, but just to be sure i'm asking it anyway.
