What is your plan to combat cheating?

Considering the pro membership and the obvious wish by geoguessr for people to pay money for this game, I would like to know what geoguessrs plans are to combat cheating in the future. Because at the moment it is just ridiculously easy.

  • There is no way to block cheaters from cheating because of the nature of the game (the game uses Google API so you can find coordinates in source page, or you can just use another account to check the locations etc). Banning them is useless as they will just make new accounts, cancel pro on the banned one and get it back on the new account. The daily challenge is useless if you're looking to be at the top, it's better to play custom challenges with trusted players, for example players from Reddit that upload videos on Youtube to prove they're legit.
