Unable to guess in Battle Royale Distance

I was in the last round of a BR Distance game. The timer before the round started counting down as usual and I could see that I will have 3 guesses. Suddenly, the timer reset and started counting down again. When the round started for me, my opponent had already guessed once and I had no guesses. I refreshed the page twice but it did not work: I could not guess and the button was disabled, saying "lock guess". The round also ended earlier than indicated by the bar at the top.
