Timed out in all rounds of any challenge with timer

Hello,

Today I found this really annoying bug in my account that doesn't allow me to play a challenge game because as soon as I click on "start game" the screen says I timed out and gives me zero points. When I click on "next round" it still says I timed out.
This has happened in all challenges with timer.

I have zero clues about it. I haven't changed any settings recently, have not done anything out of the ordinary.

Let me know if you need me to send some additional informations. I hope this can be fixed soon as I compete in leagues.

Could you send over a screen-recording (if possible) or what Operating system, browser, version of the browser as well as if you have any extensions/plugins enabled to support@geoguessr.com? And also what troubleshooting you have tried (testing another browser, disabling extensions/plugins etc). Thanks!

Hi,

I appreciate the prompt response.

I consulted with some players who were having the same issue and someone provided some different potential solutions.
Turns out that my issue was that my pc clock was different than real time and by setting it up to real time it solved the problem.

I have to say that, while I'm very happy this was solved quickly, I'm confused as to why all of a sudden a change like this was made, as it used to work perfectly before the day I reported.
