I am one Google Chrome with Windows 10 and my map doesnt even charge it stays white!
I suggest to turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available" in the Google Chrome advanced settings. Maybe that'll fix it.
It dosent work!
I am having the same problem. All I get are random triangles of street view, around the edges, sometimes in the middle, but the rest of the view is white...
Mirrani, I had the same problem just a couple of days ago. I fixed it by turning off "hardware acceleration" in the Google Chrome advanced settings:
I am not able to recreate the problem, though, for some reason, so I'm not sure if this is 'the fix'.
Forgot to add the screenshot, just in case:
@Mirrani: Does Carel's fix solve this problem for you?
Yes, it did. Sorry it took me so long to get back on it, I have been away from the computer and couldn't test to see if it would work until now. Thanks.
I downloaded Uc browser and it works sometimes but only in rare cases the page is loades and its not charged the streeetview
Am I understanding you correctly in that you're having problems loading street view? Could you in another browser besides Chrome and see if this works better?
Surely it would be a really simple job to put a button in the game to abandon and re-load level. If a player used this to 'cheat' then they are only only cheating themselves.
This would like an obvious solution to what is likely to become a more common problem.
I also have blank screens, although I use the firefox browser.
Is there anything I can do to overcome this problem?
I understand that dozens of people share this problem, so perhaps you should also fix it.
Do you have the Avira browser plugin installed? This has been known to create problems for a lot of players.
@William: This is an interesting idea, but it also is change that could possibly have major implications on the game (for example in challenges etc.) - perhaps a solution would be to allow users to reload the locations only in single player mode?
Sounds good to me, I would love to see it implemented.
