     This is not the answer,rather evasion. I paid for the use of 4 April 2017,then in the period from 4 April to 18 April your website 2 times tried to charge my card the money for the game.On your website there is no protection payments??? I don't want to deal with you,so I ask You,as administrator,delete my account and auto payment.

    When you signed up April 4th no funds were debited from your account, the Pro subscription comes with a 10 day free trial. When that ended on April 15th, we tried to charge the card for a months fee ($2.99 for April 15th-May 15th) that failed so we tried again 3 days later and when that also failed the subscription was automatically canceled. I can email you more details regarding the card failure if you want.

    So in conclusion, no money has been debited and there won't be any more retries. Your Pro subscription is canceled, do you still want me to delete your GeoGuessr account?

    I've sent you a new password to your email. If you login and go to /me/settings you can mange your subscription and update your email (if you have a non-yahoo)

    Sorry about that, we had a bug a few months back that made it possible to sign up for two subscriptions (for ex if you clicked the subscribe button twice) this seems to have happened to you..

    I've canceled it and refunded you for those charges, again sorry for the inconvenience.

  • I wish to cancel my Geoguessr subscription. When I go the link suggested by FAQ to do this (https://www.geoguessr.com/me/settings), the relevant Subscription and Account fields fail to load. Further, when I checked the source code on that settings page, those two fields seem suspiciously to be set ALWAYS to be showing that they are loading, and also to show no radio button to unsubscribe or to delete account. Please unsubscribe me to Geoguessr immediately, and refund any monies taken from my bank accoubnts after receipt of this notice.

    Sorry about the inconvenience, we had some issues with the site yesterday. I had a look at your account today and it looks like it's back to normal. I've canceled the subscription for you.

    The source code is dynamically generated depending on responses from the api so, it might have looked like fields/buttons were set to always be loading because there were no answer from the api.

  • Hi, Mikael. Just now money was deducted from my card despite the fact that my paid subscription was canceled. How is that even working? This payment is not shown in the personal account and the subscription is not renewed (and I do not want to renew it more). After reading the comments above, I understand that even deleting an account will not be able to solve this problem.

    Your card was charged because when it first was due the charge failed, you then canceled the subscription but a new period had already started. When a subscription is canceled it is set to "cancel at end of period" so when you canceled it you set it to cancel at ~July 9th.

    Our payment provider (stripe) retries failed charges a couple of times so that's why money was taken since technically you owed that amount.

    But don't worry I've canceled it and refunded you.

  • Yeah, my account says I don't have a premium account, but I am getting charged 2.99 each month. I did buy an account a couple of months back (Feb or March) so I thought I just never got rid of it but my profile says I have a normal account

    Is it possible that you have multiple accounts under another email address? (You can sign out here https://www.geoguessr.com/me/profile)

    If you can't find it, send me an email with the last 4 digits and expiration date on the card that's being charged and I'll have a look that way.

  • I’ve forgot to stop my subscription (10 days free) before the payment period. You’ve tried to get payment, but I ask on your email to stop my subscription and not try to get payment from my card, but now you actually get the payment. Could you give my money back and stop my subscription.
