scale map

is it possible to add a scale on the map? like the one on the google map

I guess the scale is omitted on purpose. You do see the scale when you create a map.

It is not that useful because it is impossible to rotate the map so you would only be able to measure on a east-west direction. Kinda pointless to have it.
