Restrict map panning or reset pan/zoom

Hey,
Suddenly, during a distance battle game, I lost my mouse and got thrown into space (pic below). I couldn't find the map again. Could you perhaps restrict the map panning to world borders or even better have a "reset" button to start from scratch with the zoom/pan? Is this possible?
