Profile identity, app vs. website

I am level 10 on the app. When I sign into the website with the same Apple ID, it does not recognize my level. I also cannot see my profile photo that I set on the website, on the app.

    I would assume that you choose not to share the email with us and therefore you have a generic apple email to login with as can be seen here.

    In case of further issues, send me an email to subscription@geoguessr.com.

  • yes, that's correct. how do i change this so that i can share my real address with you, and save my progress.

  • You can login with the generic apple email that can be found in the guide. If you want to change it to another email, send me an email to subscription@geoguessr.com with your generic apple-email along with the email you wish to use.

  • thank you. i never set a password for that generic ID. how would i sign in with it?

  • It should be the password you have for apple-login or its the one you selected for when signing up. You can also put the reset password for the generic email here - https://www.geoguessr.com/profile/reset-password and it should come to your "real" email if that makes sense.

  • hi there. I have tried this, and unfortunately it doesn’t work. I am unable to sign in with the assigned address and my Apple password, and I have not received a password reset link to that assigned address. Any ideas?
