Problem with Battle Royale Distance this weekend

Can you, please, give me some information about what's happening with Battle Royale Distance this weekend? I can't play it. Whenever I try to participate in the game, just before the game starts, image of compass pops out with message in style "Something unexpected happened". For the 3rd day in row. Is that some general issue in this week's edition of Autumn Weekend Series or is it happening only to me?
All the other game modes work fine, including BR Countries and Duels.
It seems (by the leaderboard) that some players are able to play it as they had already played all 15 Weekend Series games for placement points.
