No option to change email address

I would like to change my email address, but there are no options to do that on the settings page. The only options are to change my nickname and country

  • Hi,

    The account was connected with Google-login. I have removed it now so you can request a new password and then login with the email. Then the option will be available under your Profile.

  • I have removed the Google connection on the email so you can request a new password reset email and then you can change your email in your profile. I have edited your post as well, since its perhaps not that good to share your email in a public forum.

  • The option to change the email isn't there, but I think that's because I accidentally logged back into the account with google. If you don't mind could you remove the google connection again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

  • There is no Social connection on this email, so if you have an account on another email you would need to send an email to subscription@geoguessr.com with the email or a link to the account.

  • I have removed the Google connection so you can now request a new password reset email and login with email/password. Then you can change the email in your Profile.

  • There is no account on this email. If you want the Google/Facebook/Apple login removed so that you can change your email -> send an email to subscription@geoguessr.com with the email to the account.

  • I don't think that will work as I don't have access to the email that is currently associated with my Geoguessr Account. The one I am using to send this message is the one currently linked and the one I would like to change out of

  • I have removed the Google connection on the account with this email. In case you do not have access to it we are not able to change it to another one since without a subscription, its not possible to validate that you are the account holder.

  • In your first message you used an email that does not have an account. In the second one, you used an email in which I removed the Google login that was active. So you can request a new password reset email and then login and change your email to this third one in your account. If you need further help -> send an email to subscription@geoguessr.com. Might be easier.
