Mandatory Tutorial
I have created a new account, the name is #Just25kThings. My plan was to play maps such as A Diverse World and A Pinpointable World and the like, to continue working on getting 25k scores in every game.
I created an account previous to this also, (not the #Just25kThings account) and clicked into the tutorial, figuring it wouldn't matter towards the score. I 5k'd each of the 3 locations easily, then found out that it was a singular game and it was equal to a 15,000 score game, which is pointless for what I am trying to accomplish.
On the new #Just25kThings account, I figured I would just simply ignore the tutorial messages and go into maps, however I cannot even get into maps, even with a Pro account, which I have already paid for.
Is there a way to simply get rid of the tutorial message popping up so I can play as normal? I'm a very experienced player, and this is just a fun account that I want to play as a 25k only account.

P.S. I suggest possibly making the tutorial 5 rounds, as they are easy rounds anyway, and it will let people know that the game is 5 rounds.

Can you not just complete the tutorial? Then you would be able to play as per use.
If not, then send me the User-ID so I can have a further look from my end.
Account name: #Just25kThings
- Do a forced 3-game tutorial, giving me a gamescore of 15,000
- Get 25,000 score in 19999 games to raise my average gamescore to 25,000
- Yay, I now have a 25,000 gamescore average
I tell you what, for someone who has platinum on three accounts, who has streamed this game for basically two years and has always tried to improve the playability of the community where I could (see minimum distance), this is fairly disappointing.
I personally think it could be such an easy fix. Either by:
1- Adding two more rounds to the tutorial. They are so simple, a monkey could do them at this point. Or..
2- Just have it so that the tutorial doesn't count towards your score on your profile, which is what I thought was going to happen in the first place.
I really am just trying to help here, as with what I did with the minimum distance post in the past. Personally, I feel tutorials shouldn't be mandatory, but hey, if you guys want them to be done, then you do you.
We do not plan on adding more points to the tutorial at the moment since it is not intended to be 5 rounds to reach 25k, but just to get use to the controllers and movement.
Will see if we can add something to remove the actual score to count towards the avg one.
We will look into this as a bigger discussion in the team if it should count towards avg-score moving forward, but might take some time to see what the result of that would be.
Have started to update the copy for all badges (Explorer mode ones now). So will update the rest soon as well. 🙂
Ah so it's just a matter of time for them to update? How will the tutorial work for those that didn't do it? Do we just automatically get the badge?
