How are the points calculated in BR Distance

I'm wondering how are the points calculated in the Battle Royale Distance.
There are games (with full board of players) in which winning the 1st place is rewarded only with 9-11 points, whilst unfortunately for too many times I was knocked out of game due to technical difficulties with GeoGuessr (black screen / difficulty loading data / not being able to upload the pin / pixelation of the maps / problems with countdown and many more) and lost each time lots of points, sometimes even more than 20 points at once!
