"High" contrast maps

I tried to introduce my father to geoguessr to have something to do during the Covid-19 isolation but unfortunately he cannot see the maps due to low contrast / bad eyesight.

Would it be possible to add a method to increase contrast or change color scheme to the maps?

Thanks for the feedback! I'll add it to our todo list, in the mean time I googled it and found that there are for ex. chrome extensions that can adjust the contrast

This is really a good idea. Using https://mapstyle.withgoogle.com/ we can even create custom files so maybe you can try adding an import custom style button somewhere (in the account settings maybe) that will take a .json file generated by this website.
