Guessing map doesn't automatically maximize when mouse hovers on it

The title really sums this up. When I watch people on youtube play the game, they hover the mouse and it maximizes. When I play, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I use Google Chrome, I've updated it to the latest version, I am also running this on a surface book 2. I've tried to delete the cache and even reset the browser but nothing seems to work.

I dont mind using the arrows to maximize and minimize the map but it became frustrating when trying to complete a 10 second challenge.

If anyone knows why this happens, or has a solution, please help.
