"Could not find user"
When I tried to start playing geoguessr a few weeks ago I couldn't log into my account. When trying to sign in using email and password I got the error that it could not find the user, and using single sign-on it said that the email was unavailable.
A few days later I found out that I was still signed in to my phone and it had changed the email to an autogenerated email @geoguessr.com. So I updated it to use my gmail again instead and it made it possible for me to sign in again using both single sign-on and my old password.
However, I can now play classic mode and with friends, but when I try to play any competitive game mode it either searches forever or the button doesn't work. When looking at the network log I can see that the requests for matchmaking return 404 with the response "Could not find user".
I'm also unable to change my username from "Anonymous" until May 6, 2023.

Yeah that is because you deleted the account on the 7th of May. I have sorted it now so you can play competitive and changed the user name.
I have no memory of removing my account, and it seems weird that I'm able to have premium on an account that is deleted.
Thank you for your help. It seems to work now
