Battle royale starting glitch

Before each round of battle royale starts, the timer much longer than normal (20-25 seconds) and the round ends before the timer even stops, usually just after the timer starts flashing red. Sometimes I can even see people guessing while I'm still waiting to load into the game. Is this a problem on my end or is this a game glitch?

  • I tried using a different browser and it worked fine. I normally use chrome, but I used microsoft edge and the problem went away.

  • Cleared my cookies and cache on chrome and this fixed the problem!
