The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a global humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. We provide emergency assistance and protect people’s rights in the world’s most challenging crises. Right now, we are responding to both new and protracted crises in more than 30 countries, providing essentials such as shelter, clean water, protection, legal assistance, and education.
For 80 years, we’ve stood by people forced to flee — and we’ll keep doing so, thanks to you.

At the Norwegian Refugee Council, we assess where the needs are greatest and allocate funds accordingly. This allows us to reach the people who need support most, as quickly and efficiently as possible. For that reason, we are unfortunately not able to earmark donations for a specific country or project.
The exception is when we have a dedicated fundraising campaign for a particular project or country, as is currently the case for our response in the Middle East.
